Competitive smog shop. Quick in and out on later model cars. State law says older cars still have to do the treadmill test. A quick read of the onboard diagnostic port is only for the newer cars.
Brought in a sports car I bought out of state. The smog person pointed out some "illegal" parts that were on the engine. I explained I bought it that way but he let me know unfortunately they are not valid in California. He even showed me the company website for the performance parts stating they are not legal for California. The girl at the front desk was helpful and let me know there was no charge since the smog man had caught the illegal parts before hooking it up to the machine. I appreciate them not wasting my time or money.
Got a coupon through one of those mailers: $19.75 for the smog plus $8.25 for the certificate (cars made in 2000 or newer). I was totally expecting some long wait. I basically drove right up and was seen immediately. Those whole process might have taken 15 minutes top. Super friendly family owned. $28 and out the door with the certificate. They also sent in the certificate by VIN. Such a great experience!

We wouldn't take our cars anywhere else! Quick, conveniently located right in downtown and the complementary diagnostic with the oil change is such a life/$$$ saver. Aundrea in the office is also always helpful and professional. Keep up the good work, y'all!
They made it so easy to just stop in and fit me in where they could for a smog check. Would recommend an appointment just because they get a little busy, but the staff is friendly and flexible. Even gave me a coupon towards my next service. One last heads-up, if you are bringing a coupon in, it is cash or check only. Otherwise they take card. Thanks for smogging my car so fast!
